Standalone recruitment(s)

Svea Solar was founded in 2014 and is a leading company in the solar energy sector, driving the shift toward renewable energy in Europe.

Since our first collaboration in 2020, we have delivered several standalone recruitments to various functions across the organisation. At the beginning of our partnership, we also led a project in collaboration with Svea Solar’s internal talent acquisition teams to create and implement a strategy for the recruitment process and candidate experience.

Combining our experience in recruiting to high growth companies and by understanding Svea Solar’s business goals, growth plan and culture, we created a thorough understanding of what type of person would be a successful match with Svea Solar. We weren’t just looking for someone with a specific skill set — above all, we were looking for someone with grit, drive, and strong self-leadership. These types of personal skills have since been a consistent key success factor for all our recruitments to Svea Solar.

In 2020, Svea Solar had around 400 employees across five countries, with HR and talent acquisition functions in place, and has since grown beyond 1 000 employees.

Our initial focus was to recruit specific roles to the newly established global HR function at the Swedish HQ. Over the years, we have had the pleasure of recruiting other key hires to global functions, such as service and delivery, PR and communications as well as legal.

Selection of completed recruitments:

  • General Counsel

  • Global Head of Corporate Communications (PR & PA)

  • Global Head of Service & Support

  • Global Head of People & Culture

  • Head of HR Sweden

The recruitments made by UrbanUrban have been key positions to our growth. UrbanUrban has the experience in working with fast-growing companies, making them understand how agile you need to be when working with us.
